When it comes to owning a saltwater as much as you may want certain items within your tank such as for keeping the water filtered or even for decoration, there are always things that you may not want in your tank at all.

When you build up a saltwater tank, what item do you never add to your tank? What is your reason for not wanting this item in your tank?

I’d never add plastic plants to my saltwater tank! They look super fake and just don't vibe with the natural environment. Plus, they can trap debris and make it a pain to clean! I'd rather have real, live goodies that create a healthy ecosystem and help my fish feel at home. 🌊🐠

I actually would agree with k13th here - I feel like anything plastic or that isn’t real tends to just have that fake appearance, either due to the colors being way too vibrant or because over time the colors no longer match what something would have if it stayed under saltwater for that long (or really any time period specifically).
