Brine shrimp

How many of you guys and gals keep brine shrimp (or their famous name, Seamonkeys)? I've kept a few tanks running as food and just have them in a 1 gallon cylinder tank to provide them with enough room, light, and a small air pump to mix the water to keep them alive.

I remember keeping Sea Monkey before I even knew that they were just brine shrimp. I tried to keep a smaller hatchery but never could manage to get them to stay alive past a few weeks (might have been the free floating algae not growing for me which was a pain).

I had them for a while as a food source for my cherry shrimp, until all the cherry shrimp died due to an imbalance in the population. I haven’t bought either since.
