Personally I wouldn't buy a gallon size, unless I was looking to only feed 1 or 2 relatively small fish for awhile. I would think it would be ethical, so long as normal precautions are taken to keep the fish alive.…
On the long run of usage, it's going to dissolve and it's not entirely safe in my opinion but I would recommend making use of Silicone as it's the best you can use and it wouldn't disappoint you.
As far as I'm concerned, I believe that it's something that's very good but what determines whether or not I'm going to be getting it would be the size of my budget. If it's something that I can afford to purchase, I…
From my research so far on tannins, all my findings have been in support of it being that it's even more healthy for the fishes, so it's what helps me with my decision making in having my fish water be that way.
I have picked up some from my neighborhood since there are lots of drifting wood around here. Also, there some rocks that fits in perfectly as well. I do get a few stuff online as well and Amazon is my favorite place to…
I have this habit of always going to YouTube and watch tons of videos on anything that I don't have much knowledge on and it's always been helpful. On this note, I'm very sure that it's going to be helpful.
Second buying a generator; picked one up earlier this year. I have that sorted out for myself the very first day I got my aquarium because I have witnessed this power outage happen so many times and I have seen the…

Is Superglue safe?
I think it depends, I’ve seen a handful of aquarium/aquatic safe superglue, but the issue becomes when you use normal superglue it actually will just dissolves over time in the water in chunks. I’d be super careful on…

Decorations?
Having a drift wood is a constant for my fish because I found out they enjoy it being in their habitat. Also, I do decorate with stones and shells.

How to decorate.....?
I watched a lot discovery channels and I did focused so much on their fish and other aquatic life. I picked up a lot on how the habitat of fishes should look like and it's good to make it look as natural as possible. I…
I would always go for a community fish tank always and its simply because I have a thing for variety when it comes to fishes in my pond. When it's just a single specie, it gets boring for me easily.
When you look at the cost of running a fresh water fish tanks compared to others, you will find out that's less expensive to manage and it kind of suits the fish breed I want better.
I find their feeding sessions a perfect time for me to catch the fishes I want. It lures them out and make it easy for me to pick them up, although it gets messy sometimes because they would be swarming up.
As a human being, we get bored of something when it's been the same for too long. When that happens with my tank, I'd get creative about how I spice it up with new props or even have it changed completely if I have the…
I have had so many other fish pond disasters but it's definitely cannibalism that's the most which took me a while to control. It's one of the disadvantages of having your pond overcrowded.

How big....?
As far as I'm concerned, there is no benefit of choosing a small tank over a big one unless space is a big challenge for you because in the end you will definitely need to expand.

Anyone have a pond?
My brother is a fish farmer and he's got about 6 tarpaulin ponds and 4 earth ponds where he breed mostly cat fish for commercial purposes.
In most cases, I would like to have it filled up to the very top but I have realized that my fishes loves that little open space on top, so I do leave an inch gap space for them to explore.
I have been making use of Municipal Tap Water for at least seven years now with all my aquarium and it's been a perfect fit for all of them. A friend of mine suggested rain water but I haven't used it yet.
It's always advisable not to add new fish to your aquarium the day you have it purchased. Also, the size of your aquarium matters a lot to the number of fishes you to have inside.
