Plenty of times which is annoying. I’ve had to slowly mix the old food with the new food by crushing them both up and feeding. After awhile I slowly mix more of the new brand until the old brand’s food is all gone.

Can this hold tanks?
I’d check to make sure that the manufacturer has a weight listed per each shelf, since the whole unit may be able to hold that weight but each shelf can’t hold enough for a decent sized tank.
Filters mostly, along with heaters and lights. Everything else tends to just use a normal outlet since I don’t see the required need for them to be protected if it’s like secondary equipment.
This isn’t the case with all tanks, which I’ll outline below; Glass Now with glass tanks, all of the pressure is actually applied and spread to the corners of the tank (which is why you have tank stands that only hold…

Glass or acrylic?
I’ve seen mostly 99.99% of saltwater tanks are always acrylic and not glass, like how it’s flipped with freshwater. Is there any specific reason for this? Is it due to size, or salt eating the silicone or something else?

I’ve seen a ton of people say that in uneven surfaces it’s better to use styrofoam or rubber under the tank to keep it level - but I hear this mostly with acrylic tanks than with glass. Is there any reason for this?…
I know there are some that are the same, but I think they are different subspecies (can be in the same realm). Which is why using salt for some diseases and definitely will kill any parasites. Maybe some viruses could…

10 Gallon (WORK IN PROGRES)
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a small 10 gallon tank I just got started recently and am still working on. So far just have the hardscape with some plants going on, still debating what to put inside of it though.
Been rocking the Fluval or Marineland brands for a pretty long time. Eheim is also a really good brand
I would say make sure you always watch out from cichlids (African do not mix with Central/South American), and you can also run into issues from community fish with other semi-aggressive fish that may look small but are…
I use white vinegar and also those magic erasers or a fish sponge. Works flawlessly 10/10
