Feeding the fishes live food once in a week and mini pellets and dried bloodworms 2-3 times a week can give the desired effect.

Food for Clownfish
Since clownfish are omnivorous, you can feed them zooplanktons and also algae.
I too have a rectangular regular tank. I tried one odd shaped tank but it was very difficult to maintain it and it occupied a lot of space so I discarded it.
I have not tried to train my fishes but they do recognize me and display a particular type of movement swimming around whenever I go near the tank.
I have placed my aquarium in such a way that it can be seen but not touched so easily. In this way, I am saved from the trouble of instructing my guests to stay away from the tank.
