How to decorate.....?
Freshwater tank has rocks and plants, saltwater tank has the same plus old coral and shells.

It was just the easiest place to start, tbh. And since I have a nice ecosystem, there's no reason I'd stop maintaining it.
Second buying a generator; picked one up earlier this year.
I wish I could say I have a method that works consistently, but usually it just is a lot of patience and trying until I get it.

No, I don't get the appeal of buying one. I mean, I don't have the budget for that kind of thing. But if I did, maybe I would find the idea more compelling. I don't know.

I have rocks and shells mostly. And some aquatic plants.
I like the interactions in a community tank best!
Mine is 5 gallons, which is just right for my apartment.
I don't know, that is a hard question. What did you do? Did you get one?

How big....?
The bigger the better when you are a newbie.
I have tannins in my tank but in terms of pure aesthetics I think I like the clear look better.
Just play around with it and find out what looks good to you?
I use silicone. I don't use fishing line; I am worried something will get stuck in it.

That sounds so cool but it is probably way too cold where I live.
Almost to the very top.
I live by the coast so I can get some of them right from the shore, but I buy others online.
