With equipment ranging so widely based on what elements you have setup for your specific aquarium needs, heat can be either a small issue or a huge one. Thankfully, with the more modern efficient chillers that are on the market now, taking that water and having it cooled to a specific temperature range is a piece of cake. Sometimes, this can be extremely helpful for those who keep their saltwater tanks near a heated source, or for those that live in a high temperature environment and require for the water to be cooled directly inside of a home.
If you run a chiller as a piece of equipment, do you run it primarily in the summer months as the heat rises, or do you run it all year around due to the equipment you have putting out so much extra heat?
