Yes basically the size of the turtle matters. It is advisable to keep only one for its safety and it would easy for us to care, maintain and clean as well.

Mudpuppies usually come out during the day only if the water in which they live is murky. And yes they make peculiar squeaking sound.
Water is essential for most amphibians. They're actually the land animals that retained some aquatic adaptations.
Main thing is that Axolotl need a very quiet home. So basically with new borns and toddlers, it is difficult to keep.

Sting Rays are challenging to feed and keep healthy!
My all time favorite definitely would be the Neons! It is surely a eye treat while watching the neons.
Guppies are the best tropical fish in my opinion. They are so lovely and beautiful creatures.

Rainbow fish
I haven't had rainbow fish. But they very well stay with tetras and guppies. I have seen quite few of them in aquariums.

Cory catfish vs goldfish

Both seems to be more or else similar to me. I usually do not stick to any if it. I get my things wherever it is available. Sometime you find in one and other will be out of stock.
YouTube videos have helped me a lot in learning many new things about the aquarium setup, choices of fish, on the whole the process. Researching helps a lot in this process.
