Where do you source your aquascape materials?
Where do you end up sourcing your aquascaping material from? Do you source it at your local stores, online, or even around your home in nature itself? This can range from wood, rocks, to other items that are aquarium…
From a friend who does this all of the time; Put polarized sunglasses on and look at a known peice of tempered glass compared to a known non-tempered peice of glass. I believe it looks similar to the reflective rainbow…
I’ve seen a few do it, but I never had a tank that either was too experience for a stand - or was an odd shape and therefore a common stand isn’t really an option. For strength, I’m sure one could use some type of CAD…

Do you prefer lone fish species or schooling fish?
When you setup your tanks and stock then, do you go for a majority of them to be schooling fish - or do you go for more centerpiece fish without background fish?

Do you use a protein skimmer?
Do you use a protein skimmer for your freshwater tanks, and if so, what made you set one up? I personally use one for my turtle tank, however I don’t use it in any of my other fish only tanks since I never really had a…
I personally do fill my tank up all of the water, I hate the way that water stains look on the tank and they are a huge pain to get rid of.
I believe that the fish major thing that wiped out one of my tanks when I was starting with either Ich or it possibly was something else in the form of a parasite. As far as cleaning, I used a ton of vinegar, magic…
I normally plan a rough cost, although that can be pretty hard to pinpoint when you walk into a store and see the vibrant colors and the costs with them.
I remember using this before to paint some decorations I made, but I also made sure to prevent if it was toxic by coating the whole thing is hot silicone (melted in a more liquid than goo form) to protect the paint.
Good call out, always check to make sure you have every part and that it’s not broken before you leave the store (obviously they won’t let you test a filter - but you get the idea).

What type of light do you use to keep your tanks lit?
Since there are such a wide variety of different types of lights, which ones do you use?

Do you feed corals?
It really depends on your lighting and the corals you have. A vast majority do fine without any extra feeding, although some do better when fed if they aren’t getting enough nutrients from the light or waste that is…
I’m not too sure - possibly make this a goldfish tank or even try out something more unique/not commonly kept (African Dwarf Frogs or Red Claw Crabs). I’d love to try another Fire Belly Toads setup if I could get enough…
I’ve heard that it should start tomorrow, but nothing official yet. We’ll see though since everyone on Facebook loves to just point out random dates. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Looks like this is correct, the…

How frequently do you do water changes?
How frequently do you do your water changes on your tank(s), and how much water do you replace?

Have your fish ever refused food from a different brand?
I know plenty of times with some picky eaters, if the food isn’t exactly the same then they refuse it regardless of how long I let them not eat (up to a point). Have your fish ever done this before? And if so, did you…

Did you plan your layout or wing it?
When you first setup your tank, did you plan the layout of corals (if you have any), rocks, and other aspects like equipment - or did you just place it as you felt fit when putting it all in?

Have you tried to purposely grow algae?
Have you ever tried to grow algae in order to use as a food source for fry or fish? If so, how did it go and what type of algae did you attempt to grow?
I kind of like the odd shaped ones, only problem is that if you ever buy them used I would 100% make sure you reseal them since their odd shape puts more pressure on the seals than other tanks.
Do you recommend any specific UPS units or any specific battery powered pieces of equipment? For a UPS, make sure you get one that automatically switches over and has atleast some outlets that are not used for it and…
