Like I said with the other post, at least 55-75 gallons in my opinion. Less to jack up.

One word of advice - the BIGGER the better since there is so much to check that it can feel overwhelming at first. I'd say at least 55-75 gallons to start with to make it so much easier to learn as you go.

My store has some frozen foods, although most of the time they have commercial grade foods that you can try to get them to switch to.

I started with a cheap one that was for both freshwater and saltwater tanks, before moving to a real protein skimmer that collected the protein vs. pushing it through a filter to break it apart before spitting it back out.

I believe that the first disease that I had was probably velvet from getting in some sick fish from my local store sadly.

I've been using the Aqua Euro USA Max Chill 1/10 HP and haven't had any issues with it at all.
