I'm wanting a little more color in my tank and am toying with the idea of purchasing some water purslan, perhaps some pink or dwarf rotala. What have you found has flourished in your own tank?

I've got 5 zebra danios, 4 guppies, 6 neon tetras, and 4 cory catfish and one pleco. I hear that shrimp can be food for guppies. I'm wondering how many I should start with do see how they'll fair?

While cleaning I lost grip and my lighting fell to the floor and now it no longer works. I was going to buy a replacement light off of Amazon like I did last time but now I'm wondering if there might be a better place for me to buy one. They seem so overpriced at Petco and Petsmart. Any recommendations?

Moss balls are very low maintenance in my opinion. They help create oxygen and also add helpful bacteria.

I love to watch schools of fish myself. So for me I would like a mixture of both in a larger tank.

I've never done this. I honestly have never even considered it! I suppose it would make sense for some. I imagine that I would grow it separately like on rocks as to keep the algae in somewhat control.

I usually just find myself adding more plant life or other accessories. I used to just add more fish but I'm at capacity as far as fish count goes!

I chose freshwater aquarium because I find it less intimidating than saltwater. Fish and plants seem to be less expensive as well.
