Is it needed to have a skimmer in smaller tanks like below 40 gallons? Does it really help that much for small tanks or is it really only helpful for the larger tanks due to all of the xtra bioload and protein waste created?

How do you all make it so much easier to do water changes than dragging buckets around or making a mess dumping them out into your backyard or in a tub?

I’m looking to buy a tank from someone who has had their setup in a garage running with nothing in it for a year or so, which has made the sand look awful. Would there be a problem if I use new sand or do I need to use the old sand?

I just got done setting up a new tank, and once I turned on the filters the water became immediately cloudy. Like white cloudy water. How can I fix this?

At what age can I sell my fry and ship them to other states without them dying?
