Crayfish with plants

    Has anyone had any luck with keeping any crayfish with any plants in their tank (real or even fake)? A local shop near me says that they will pretty much clip any plants and rearrange their tank like many cichlids do, but curious if it’s temperament related possibly or just a general thing all of them.

    Sorry, I don't have an answer for you - I never thought about keeping crayfish, but that's interesting... Is there commercially available food or do you have to get creative to feed them stuff they'd find in the wild? Do they get along ok with certain species of fish?

    No, please do not put any plants in the crayfish tank as they devour the plants. If you want to dispose off any plant clippings then you can drop them into the crayfish tank.
