Info needed with starting keeping Molly fish alive and healthy

Is there any special needs to keep Mollies alive and free from sicknesses. I have been having problems with keeping alive. They seem to shake and shimmy after a few days in my tank. Are there any additives to water needed? Thank You

Hey Finaddict!

As far as keeping them healthy, normally a good diet along with feeding them variety and having water temperatures warmer than normal (80 degrees Fahrenheit) really helps out. The shaking is from either stress, poor water quality, or lower-than-ideal temperatures (it's called Shimmies) and normally can be solved rather easily.
