Sometimes the airpump causes the airstone to work overtime which produces so many bubbles. This eventually disturbs the fishes in the aquarium.

Fishes are susceptible to illness, but few fishes are easy to maintain. You can choose these fishes in the beginning and from there you can choose whichever fish you like. I love Flower Horn fish, it's easy to maintain and looks super cute. It's carnivorous, you can feed them dried shrimps, special fish food, or live fish it's up to you. It fits perfectly in medium-sized tanks.

I got a fish tank to keep me relaxed and to calm my mind. This question is hilarious to me. It might be stressful for professional fish breeders since they are making a living from it. But I would advise others to chill and enjoy having a fish tank, don't get stressed over it. Ask for professional help and enjoy the aquarium.

Hydrogen Peroxide is useful in clearing the tank from algae infestation. But would advise you to remove the fish and other live stocks from the tank before that. Clean the tanks and recycle the water again and introduce the fish back to the tank. Hydrogen peroxide usually becomes harmless after 24 hours of dilution in the tank.

I have a medium-sized tank, I have a group of angel fishes in my tank. They look surreal. It looks stunning with its beautiful pattern and stripes. It's a beautiful fish but is very hard to maintain.

Placing the heater horizontally near the bottom of the tank has proved efficient for me. The hot water is lighter and it would float to the surface and the dense cold water stays at the bottom. Placing the heating filament horizontally in the bottom provides even water heating and doesn't spoil your aquarium's look.

Yes, it's true. Breeding fish is very hard. I haven't tried breeding them yet. I like to keep my aquarium filled with fish. But when you plan for breeding have to keep fish in isolation. As of now, I am not looking to get into breeding.

Am not a big fan of UV sterilizers, I prefer to use a good mechanical filter. And I periodically change the water. I believe the UV lights would destroy useful microorganisms along with the disease-causing bacteria. My mechanical filter has kept my aquarium clean & clear till now.

I prefer acrylic tanks, they are easy to maintain. I have kids in the house, I don't have to worry about glass breakage and these acrylic tanks are very durable.

Snails would usually come as eggs attached to gravels, aquatic plants, and decorations when transferred from other tanks. But don't need to worry most of these snails are beneficial to your aquarium as they promote a healthy aquatic ecosystem.

You can also try Cuba (Hemianthus callitrichoides) it's one of the smallest aquarium plants in the world. It grows over the bottom of the tank with tiny round leaves, and like most carpeting plants it spreads rapidly when separated and planted in clumps with a grid-like pattern. But should maintain proper water temperature in the range of 64-82 degrees Fahrenheit. Could be a little challenging but you would get fast and stunning results.
