For a problem I didn't give any food to my fishes in one month, when I come back at home all of them lives. Very thins, but living all of them. Before this long stop, they were very well fed.

I would get acrylic for a smaller tank but the harder it is to clean the more I lean towards glass, and some fish even tend to scratch it when they bump into it every once in awhile

I found my 4 inch koi on the floor dry, but still alive. I was able to save him and put him back in the water. It took a while but eventually he was able to swim. He's not eating currently, and prefers alone in the other side of the tank

Do you know what you are feeding them? What is the water temperature that they are within?
Additionally, do you notice any other signs that they may be showing? Staying in one area completely, hiding away, not so colorful/dull colors, or possibly are they not eating as much as they used to (or compared to other species of theirs in other tanks)?
I just got a fantail goldfish yesterday and I love it so much I don't want it to die so thanks for these signs

What about using salt in QT tanks as preventative measures for unknown pathogens/illnesses? What amount of NaCL would you use in the tank? This wouldnt be a salt bath of course, but just a constant salinity until the QT period is gone.

I am new at fish keeping and I have 3 goldfish that I won at a fair and a Pleco
what would be an ideal hiding place for a Pleco? Any suggestions?
