Is there something wrong with my frogs? They can’t find food and take forever. By the time they get to it it’s mostly all eaten by the fish.

African Dwarf Frogs are slightly blind (they mostly go by the smell in the water and their hose and also by the feeling they get from the water movement around them. A lot of times it’s just recommend to either have them in their own tank (as they take their time eating), or to try and feed them at night since the other fish should be sleeping and it will give them a better advantage when it comes to finding the food first.

What many that I know do is that they will put food on a plate in the middle of the tank to allow for them to eat easier as they could spot the difference from a white plate vs. any color which would be a food source.

Keeping them in their own tank as Avery mentions is what has worked best for me in the past.
