I normally use a mixture of liquid fertilizers, and will also push down root tabs.
When I used a substrate such as Flourite I mostly just overdosed with liquid fertilizers for it to absorb it (while also placing a TON of root tabs underneath it). Then once I noticed my plants start to look a little poor, I would use more liquid fertilizers and then take some root tabs and try to put them underneath the substrate while filled up with water.
Those are eggs from a snail, more specifically mystery (apple) snails that are sold in pet stores. If they are kept moist from the humidity from the tank and not dipped into water/under water, they have a pretty high chance of hatching.
Looks like they have investigated and found nothing wrong. Ironically I also tried to reproduce this again and everything came through correctly.

Additionally you just make sure your Tapatalk account is validated before trying to register or it will cause some odd issues that you may have been seeing.
This has been resolved for all platforms (make sure you clear your cache if it doesn’t automatically show the corrections for you).

Good catch! I’ll work on fixing the colors on that map since even the blue/grey with the boxes of “Map” and “Satellite” is pretty hard to read as well. I’ll bring it back to the normal coloration it would have by default once I gather all of those color codes for it.

I’ve submitted a ticket to Tapatalk since I noticed this too when I tried myself. In the meantime I’ve disable in-app registration until it can be resolved.

Yes. I’ve been bitten a few times by fish (most aren’t bad and actually tickle), but the ones that hurt are by turtles (man they snap hard) or bigger fish.
That isn’t bad at all! Sadly I was stuck at other stores and my local Petsmarts all had their Black Friday stock sold out.
I’m normally not a fan of dark themes, but this one fits. Any plans on adding a light style theme?
Good point! Currently we are still fixing some theme related aspects with this one, we may add a lighter theme once that is done.
I wonder if they will go even further down in price for their Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals.

Plus it’s the things they did discount for Black Friday, it definitely made getting a tank stand-alone more sense.
Yes, many places (dependent on the size of the tank) tend to just assemble it at its final destination (might be your house, or possibly a fish shop that can assemble it there) to save costs.
Acrylic is pretty heavy, but normally it’s the awkward sizing that makes it more pricey since it qualifies for bigger shipment costs based on size and weight.
We cover this in the saltwater getting started guide, but there are some which are dependent on what your water source is and the pH and hardness levels - since that will mean you need a buffer or a way to reduce such levels (mostly done vis substrate or RO water).
It’s not required, but some are really helpful.
No, there are some that are similar but they cannot live in either fully freshwater and saltwater. If you have a fish such as a Molly and it gets something, it cannot spread to a saltwater tank since the underlying species of bacteria/virus is different.
When it comes to parasites, they can infect others from saltwater or freshwater.
I’d say the hardest part of saltwater is the learning curve, and the money that can get wasted if you don’t understand the process of maintaining them (can’t just directly add any water to the tank like freshwater). If you a few guides and just take your time before buying fish or anything, it’ll save you a ton in the long run.

Working on updating text color has been resolved. I've left the capital letter aspect alone since it requires a few more edits that may change other items as well (will need to break them apart first).
Thanks for the report! Ironically it’s not just you, and appears to be a design element that has a problem. I’ve already notified the theme designer so that they can fix this problem (so bear with us, it may take a few days).
I’m also working on fixing where it is capitalizing every main header element, making the color of text brighter since it’s a tad too dark along a non-black background, along with redoing the homepage (so items may be missing, or appear half finished) on there until it’s all done.
I hope that using this theme, we can improve the functionality of the community as the upgrade we just did broke the theme previously used badly (with no ETA at all on any fix).
Looks like a bobbit worm in its early stages (hard to tell due to it blending in with the color of the sand). Are you able to take it out and put it in a bowl of just water?
Exactly, using either silicone pieces to separate it all out or possibly making sure that you have fish that will not mix it around since many will as a territory aspect or may when they get scared.
You can also use gravel instead for both which will prevent them from mixing as easily as sand will throughout the time.
