I know that for vehicles that HP makes a difference, but is the HP for chillers for the water flow or the amount of water they can chill they passes thru?

how do you keep a few of the inverts from escaping the tank? do you use a tight covered lid, or have something that makes sure that they can’t escape out?

will turtles know not to eat the silk fake plants or do you have to use real plants only in case they eat them?

I’ve mostly just had my local store do it, I think they use test strips

I just use vinegar and a rough tooth like brush to help remove it off.

Have any of you mixed substrates together either in layers or to form a path or specific layout?

Does anyone know a good image that shows based on what look the leaves or stem of a given plant have, what it is showing it is deficient in?

I just use scissors or will break the plant apart by hand and try to replant it in other spots of the tank.

It seems that there are guides for getting started with saltwater and freshwater, but nothing for brackish. Is it just that much more difficult or is it because it’s a repeat of saltwater with just less salt..?

a bunch of local shops do it, especially before you buy fish from them. Maybe see if they can do it for free or a small charge while you get your tank up and running?

how would you change it? Would it be a completely different tank size/shape? different equipment? different fish or layout?

how often and how much should I do live feedings? I keep seeing conflicting things online and I have no idea if it’s bad overall, better for them, or the same as feeding like processed foods?
