I tried using it once for my potted plants but the I could not tolerate the smell so now I use the water in my kitchen garden and as it is exposed to sunlight, the smell does not make much of a difference.

It is definitely neither fish eggs or snail eggs. Must be some random bumps in the wood. Fish eggs and snail eggs would be in clusters and not embedded on wood.

Are fishes scared of human presence?

It may sound crazy but I talk to my fishes and I can see them moving around happily when I gaze at them. I check on my equipment on a daily basis as a small change can be detrimental to my delicate darlings.

I use 50% white light and 50% blue light for my reef aquarium as this helps my coral grow.

The first set of goldfish was a big pain to me. Though it was recommended to me as a beginner, I had a tough time caring for it. I think the amount of ammonia released by these fishes killed it eventually.

My aquarium is my showpiece and I want it to be colorful. These little fishes add color to our life too. Just gazing at these life forms swimming effortlessly in the aquarium relieves us of our stress.

I tried one just for the fancy of it but it is not practically helpful for my aquarium. It is just like those USB powered hand fans etc There was this craze among people to use all USB powered things and this is just yet another one of those.

Mudpuppies live in a natural habitat which is murky or weedy water and I doubt if we could care for it in an aquarium.

Axolotls are endangered species and it is indeed a challenge to care for them.

I have added rainbow fish to my lily pond and it keeps the mosquitoes from breeding in my pond by eating the mosquito larvae.

If you want to have a turtle in your tank then do not put any fishes in there as turtle are omnivorous and can kill your fish. You can identify whether it is male or female by looking at their shell...the males are more colorful; their bellies......the males have caved in bellies; tail......males have broader tails; Cloaca opening.......towards the tip of the tail in males and towards the shell in females.

Definitely amphibians need water or at least a moist environment to survive as most of them lay eggs only in water.

I have a half collapsed resin castle in my fish tank where my fish can hide and play. I have zebra fish and common goldfish in fish tank. They are always active and playful.

A refugium benefits the reef tank by lowering the nitrate and phosphate and also provided live food for the fishes and corals.

Just use the right dosage of H2O2 and everything will go good. Maximum of 1.5 to 2.5 ml of 3% solution of H2O2 in one gallon of water can be administered via syringe directly onto the spots where there is algae infestation.

It is tough but not impossible. One needs a lot of patience and you will be rewarded well at the end. Firstly the male and female fishes have to be fed protein rich food. Then they have to be placed in the same tank but separated by a transparent divider. This is increases the need to breed when they meet physically. The best time for breeding is during spring. The temperature and the pH of the water have to be maintained during breeding to get the best results.

If you select Dwarf Hairgrass for your tank, you could get a water carpet in no time. It grows very fast and with medium light and temperature. It does require trimming every two weeks.

Snail population can increase if you are overfeeding the fishes. We can include those fishes that feed on snails in the tank so that their numbers are kept in check.

I prefer glass as they are scratch resistant, non porous and resistant to chemical absorption. There is no visual distortion and UV safe. Manufacturers prefer acrylic ones as they are lightweight and curved panels can be made. They are easy to transport and the equipment required to manufacture these need less investment.
