Inside of your aquarium(s), what would you consider to be your centerpiece fish in them? Is it a lone species, or is it a giant shoal/school of fish that just catches your eye as they move around the tank?
What is your centerpiece fish in your tank(s)?

In smaller tanks, I’d say it would be a lone species (thinking of Dwarf Gourami or Gourami). In bigger community tanks, I’d probably say a giant shoal of a tetra species. In a cichlid tank, it would more than likely be something that would stand out color wise.

Right now I don’t have one, just school fish.

I tend to do things off-center. Right now the center of the tank is a coconut hide for my shrimp and on each side, off-centered, are two pots with soil and plants in them.

I have a medium-sized tank, I have a group of angel fishes in my tank. They look surreal. It looks stunning with its beautiful pattern and stripes. It's a beautiful fish but is very hard to maintain.

I personally like a school of fish and I haven't had any center piece fish as such.

I have a half collapsed resin castle in my fish tank where my fish can hide and play. I have zebra fish and common goldfish in fish tank. They are always active and playful.

Whenever I have had a tank or even friends that have had tanks as well, they never really have a centerpiece so to speak but more just a school of different species of fish that we know will get on and we will not have any issues with them.
Some people like to have a center piece but it really depends on what you are looking for and what you want to keep in your tank.
