Do you source all of your starter items like live rock, beneficial live sand, and corals at the same shop or do you get them as you go at various shops?

It depends really. If I want to make a tank that has a wide variety of things in it; sure, I'd browse around for different things that would go good with it. Then ofcourse, I hate to have too much stuff, as I don't want to have to have issues figuring out if the fish are healthy, if I cannot see them because of what is in the tank.

I tend to purchase from various shops, since a lot have a good selection of items but their prices are widely different. Other times a shop tends to only stock items from a given vendor where as another shop might use another vendor.

Wherever I can find the best deals, that's where I'd shop.

When we used to have a fish tank we would get supplies from different places , as not all places had the best deal
or all the items you wanted
