What size tank do you recommend for beginners getting into salt water? I'm sure tank size also matters for the amount of fish and the size but are the smaller ones easier to manage or does it not matter?

i’ve always heard that bigger is better, so probably something above 40 gallons or so for sure when just starting out

100% agree, the bigger the better when it’s your first time with saltwater. Ideally anything above 40-55 gallons would be ideal since it has more room for you to get used to doing water changes, testing for various things, and making sure the lighting is right for anything you plan on keeping.

Like I said with the other post, at least 55-75 gallons in my opinion. Less to jack up.

I've started off with a 37 gallon tank to start off. Think I'll start off small and see how I go first.

I feel like a larger tank is just physically easier to work with. But it also gives you more flexibility if you really want to build up your reef community.
