Eventhough I clean my tank on a 2 week basis, I still can't get rid of the algae problem. Is there any remedy against the growth of algae in fish tank?

See that your tank is not exposed to sunlight and also check the pH levels of your tank at 3.8 to 7.8. Scrub away the algae as when you find it.

I limit the amount of time my aquarium light is on to slow down the algae growth, I make sure it's on in the evening though so I can enjoy it so that means maybe I turn on the light a bit later in the day
