How much harder is it to take care of a saltwater tank versus a freshwater tank? Do you think there is no difference? Why or why not?
Saltwater versus freshwater?

I would totally say there is a difference, for sure with saltwater being more harder and demanding as more parameters need to be in check (and even at a base price, saltwater fish and equipment is more expensive while you are trying to learn and understand any issues you may have with your tank).

I’d say the hardest part of saltwater is the learning curve, and the money that can get wasted if you don’t understand the process of maintaining them (can’t just directly add any water to the tank like freshwater). If you a few guides and just take your time before buying fish or anything, it’ll save you a ton in the long run.

I found it significantly harder to get started with a saltwater tank for the first time compared to freshwater, but it has been worth the effort.

depends on the species of fish i think

I think in general saltwater is usually harder than freshwater.
